(Case study) Fintech · Saudi Arabia
Real estate fund investing for everyone, starting from 1,000 riyals. An investor app and a fund manager portal on one platform.
(Overview)
Daryn lets people in Saudi Arabia invest in licensed real estate funds from their phone, with identity checks through Nafaz. Fund managers get a web portal to run funds, offerings and units.
(03) The challenge
Investing in a regulated fund comes with identity checks, suitability rules and paperwork. The goal was to make all of it feel as simple as any everyday app.

On the web portal
(04) Two products, one platform
The investor journey runs on the phone. The fund manager journey runs on the web. Both meet at the same funds, offerings and units.
(05) Onboarding
Three short screens explain what Daryn is and lower the barrier to start. Language is a choice from the very first screen.

(06) Identity and KYC
Identity comes from the national Nafaz system, then a guided KYC fills in the rest, with clear states for linked, failed and pending.

(07) Fund to units
Funds open as cards with capital, return, unit value and progress. A suitability check comes before investing, then payment and a clear confirmation.

(08) Languages and themes
Every screen is designed in Arabic and English, right to left and left to right, in light and dark mode.

(09) Fund manager portal
Fund managers add funds and contributors, open offerings, run capital increases and manage investors and units, with quick view panels so they never lose context.

(10) Design system
Variables, text styles and components shared by the app and the portal, built for two languages, two directions and two themes.
(11) Scope
Two products, two languages and two themes, kept consistent by one system.
